The Best of Josh Comune

Our group has worked hard in the past two weeks on trying to make the best of our scene. Since then, we have been able to make noticeable improvements. Ms. Guarino said today that she was also impressed with the changes and she even thought that the performance may receive a good grade from the IB. Our group has been working hard everyday, and also putting in time after class to work on small details that could put our scene over the top of the other groups. Yun, Joey, Helen, and I are all committed to making the best out of the performance and come the final show, I believe we will be at our best yet. It has been great to work with this group, and everyone is open to new ideas that could further improve our scene. I like to think that this final version we came up with is a collaborative group effort with everyone having at least one detail that they added into the performance. With a new due date quickly approaching, there is now a sense of urgency to improve quickly. Our group has the foundation of what our scene should be, but the actual performance lacks creativity, entertainment, structure, and overall idea of the direction in which characters need to show through emotion on stage.  There were several long pauses during our scene where actors struggled with cues and remembering lines.
