Girls Problems: Portraying Juliet's Inner Turmoil and Outer Conflict Onstage

A: 5 Literary analysis
B: 9 Performance
C: 3 Language
Total: 17

This students thesis statement is easy to locate within a nice overview of the play in the first paragraph. This students gives lots of quotes that help further support their thesis and add to the literary analysis. The students gives multiple examples of perfjoamcne details in their work which gives me a further understanding in what they were trying to portray in their essay. The language and sentence structure was not great. I feel there where some run on sentences where ideas could of been better put out. Could of used more stage terms, and the entire paper seemed to drag a bit.

A Reflexion of Transitioning Character Study from Paper to Stage

A: 4 Literary analysis
B: 9.5  Performance
C: 4.5 Language
Total: 18

Thesis is clearly stated, and is concise to the point. This student gives examples of performance in the essay, and how the student wanted to show their interpretation of the scene on stage through their writing. I liked how the student summed up what they learned through their scene and furthered their understanding of the original Romeo & Juliet. Sentence structure is good but could of had more use of theater vocabulary. No run ons all the students ideas are Cleary stated and this paper is easy to navigate through.
